Helping citizens find their nearest library with Google Maps Platform

The challenge

As a public service, Perpusnas must make library information available to all Indonesian citizens. It needed a way to map its libraries across the country so members could find and reach the nearest one.

What we did

• Helped Perpusnas use Google Maps Platform to serve all users, including students and the general public
• Enabled members to find and get directions to the nearest public library based on their location, nationwide

The results

• Members can now identify and navigate to the nearest library from their location across Indonesia
